Apple Pudding

This is high fat, but we live only once.
Ingredients  Bread slices  Steamed apples  Butter (100 gms)  Bread crumbs Brown sugar (1 cup)  Orange squash  Method  1. Heat 100 gms of butter in a pan.  2. When it starts to melt, soak the bread slices on both sides with butter.  3. After a minute or two, place the steamed apple slices on the bread slices.  4. Sprinkle generously with bread crumbs.  5. Add the brown sugar. Pour the orange squash over the mixture.  6. Cover with lid until the mixture binds. Serve with custard.
