Bread Treats

This is another deep fried starter which some of my Bong pals may enjoy! Poor things, keep craving for sum deep fried stuff like hot hot samosas, but our south Indian joint does not believe in stocking samosas.

You need
Bread slices
Onions, finely chopped
Boiled potatoes
Green chillies, finely chopped (optional)
Grated cheese
Corainder, finely chopped
Oil for shallow frying
Salt to taste

How to proceed

Peel the boiled potatoes.
Mash and mix with cheese.
Add in salt, pepper, onions, ginger and the green chillies.
Mix well.

Cut a bread slice in half and spread the paste all over on both sides.
Slide it into the oil and shallow fry until golden brown.
Serve with soup and chilli sauce.

Option 2

Roll out the stuffing into small balls.
DIp it in whipped egg white.
Roll it over bread crumbs .
Deep fry.
