Rava Ladoo
My friend made this lip-smacking sweet for Diwali. This is also her last day at work. For you M, all the best.
Thank you for the Rava laddoos. It was simply delicious and a very easy to make dessert.
Ingredients
Rava (1 cup)
Ghee (2 tbsp)
Sugar (1/2 cup)
Raisins
Powdered Elaichi
Method
1. Roast the rava in the ghee until it turns a light golden brown.
2. When the rava leaves the sides of the pan, remove it from the stove.
3. Grind the sugar and when it is warm, add it to the rava.
4. Add the raisins.
5. Mix well.
6. Make small balls of the rava immediately.
Hint: You may dab your fingers with ghee while making the rava balls. It makes it easier to roll them out. Alternatively, you can also sprinkle warm milk over the rava, and start rolling them out into balls.
