Rajma and Black Moong Dal

Ingredients

Rajma (Red Kidney Beans)
Black Moong dal
Ginger-garlic paste
Tomatoes
Onions
Chilli powder
Salt
Coriander-Mint Leaves

Dollop of butter


Method

1. Soak both lentils overnight.
2. Next day, boil together in a pot until both the beans soften.
3. Mash them well.
4. Add a dollop of pure butter and close until they cook well.
5. Now add the tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste and onions.
6. Add chilli powder and salt.
7. Stir until the mixture spreads evenly.
8. Fry onions in butter until they turn a golden brown.
9. Pour over the dal.
10. Garnish with cream, coriander and mint.


Serve with warm bread.
