From Kitchen Kiladigal, a cookery show on Vijay TV that showcases the flavours of India, this week's featured the Sukdi, a quick and easy Gujurati dessert, which is similar to our rava ladoos.

Wheat flour
Dry ginger powder
Thinly sliced badam pieces

1.  Heat the tava and add ghee.
2. When the ghee melts, add the flour and mix until both ingredients mesh well to form a paste.
3. Add dry ginger powder and turn once more.
4. Switch of the stove.
5. Add the jaggery to the ghee-flour mix.
6. Mix well until the jaggery melts and combines with the rest of the ingredients in the tava.
7. Transfer sukdi onto a plate.
8. Flatten it to make a thick base and garnish with thinly sliced badam pieces.
