Cucumber-Tomato Yoghurt Dish (Raita)
Another yummy easy to do recipe, which can accompany mixed or spiced rice, and different types of Indian bread, the Cucumber-Tomato Raita is a must have during the hot summer days.
Cup of finely chopped cucumber
Cup of finely chopped onions (optional)
Cup of finely chopped tomato
Finely chopped green chillies
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Chilli powder (optional)
Finely ground jeera powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
1. In a bowl, add the three vegetables including the green chilles.
2. Add the curd and mix well.
3. Add the spices and mix again.
4. Garnish with coriander leaves.
5. Serve cold.
