Cabbage and Carrot Lentil Gravy

One of the simplest and healthiest side dishes to make, the cabbage and carrot lentil gravy is rich in proteins and vitamins.

Shredded cabbage 2 cups
Finely chopped carrots 2 cups
Cooked lentils 1 cup
Jeera 1tsp
Chilli powder
Garam masala (optional)
Chopped green chillies
Juice of lime
Cooking oil 1tsp
Water 1 cup

1. In a wok, heat oil and splutter jeera, hing, chilli powder, green chilies, and turmeric.
2. Add the carrots, saute and sprinkle a little water. Cover with lid to let it cook.
3. Add the cabbage and saute. Cover with lid until the cabbage cooks.
4. Pressure cook the lentils and add it to the veggies.
5. Let the gravy simmer.
6. Remove from fire and garnish with juice of lime.
